Stewart Moore is the founder and CEO of EarthCheck and the Executive Director of the APEC International Centre for Sustainable Tourism. EarthCheck is the world’s leading scientific benchmarking certification and advisory group for travel and tourism. They help deliver clean, safe, prosperous and healthy destinations for travellers to visit, live, work and play knowing that what is good for the planet, is also good for business. Stewart has over 30 years experience in tourism operations and comes with multiple degrees including a Masters of Regional Science, specialising in tourism planning and sustainable development.

Andrew joined Sunshine Coast Council as Head of Economic Development in 2020 driven with a desire to build the Sunshine Coast Community and to be the bridge between Industry and Council. Andrew has over 20 years FMCG experience across, General Management, Supply Chain and Operations. In 2010, Andrew was recognised for his Vision, Innovation, Leadership, Implementation and Culture within an organisation and was awarded a “Medal of Excellence” by the Australian Institute of Management, Sunshine Coast (AIM). He was also recognised as the 2015 Sunshine Coast Outstanding Business Person of the Year.

Amanda works with Tourism Noosa members benchmarking energy, water and waste and leading events teams towards their own environmental action plans to reduce their environmental footprint yearly. Prior to this Amanda lead, trained, and inspired more than 20 five star hotels to gain environmental performance certification before joining The Green Asia Group – a Sustainability Network of professionals throughout Asia.

Dr. Mike Duggan is a Director in Ashurst’s risk advisory practice with over 15 years’ experience in commercial and for-purpose executive leadership. Dr. Mike Duggan has also delivered advisory, consulting and research engagements across Australia and internationally. Mike is a former Chief Operating Officer for both a leading Australian for-purpose, social sector organisation and renewable fuels company. Mike was a Director in a Big 4 Risk Advisory practice and has worked extensively in industry managing social and environmental sustainability portfolios.

Pollyanna is committed to playing her part in healing the global forest. She aims to do so with passion, drive, and intention. Her areas of proficiency include large-scale project & event management, outreach & fundraising, marketing & social media, and leading & designing trainings. She brings a rich skill set gleaned from her background in project management, reforestation, community engagement, and NFP sector management. Her passion is matched only by her business acumen and resiliency in the field. She was also a coach, solopreneur, mentor, and facilitator for over a decade.

Brett Hazlett has worked in the green building space for over a decade as a champion for sustainable product manufacturers. He recently launched a video series called ‘Talking Green ’with Global GreenTag. Global GreenTag has been named in the Top 100 Most Trusted Building Sector Brands in Australia.

Heidi Cooper is the CEO of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland (CCIQ). Heidi has dedicated her career to the advancement of business and is a passionate advocate for the strategic growth of Queensland.

Dr Nicole Garofano is the Head of Circular Economy Development for Planet Ark. Nicole is leading the ongoing strategic development of the Australian Circular Economy Hub. For over 15 years, Nicole has worked in environmental education and action with a focus on waste management and a circular economy. She has designed and managed community-based initiatives to increase sorting, collection and processing of a range of packaging materials, including plastic. Nicole has a PhD from research focused on the plastic food and beverage packaging value chain, identifying both local and global innovation to improve chain activities and outcomes.

Founder of Sobah, Australia’s first non-alcoholic craft beer company established in 2017 and proudly Aboriginal owned and led. Founded by Gamilaroi man and psychologist, Dr Clinton Schultz, Sobah functions from the philosophies of Gamilaraay Lore ‘dhiriya Gamil’. These include acting from a position of respecting people, place and the environment; understanding and working towards fulfilling responsibilities to that we are connected to; and, engaging in positive reciprocity.

A Marine Ecologist and Senior Lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Dr Alexandra Campbell leads projects on restoration of lost underwater forests, specialising in seaweed and links between human health and ecosystem function.

Nathan Begley is Managing Director of Upstream Energy, Australia’s longest serving provider of solar Power Purchase Agreements. Upstream owns and manages over 350 sites Australia-wide including Beacon Lighting, Fairfield Homemaker Centre and Australia’s first 100% off-grid sustainable school, Atlantis Beach Baptis College in Western Australia. Nathan founded Upstream in 2013 after 16 years in urban firefighting with Fire and Rescue NSW.

Natalie believes we’re living in the critical decade for climate action, And we’re all needed to drive transformational change by 2030. Natalie’s second book, ‘Right Here Right Now’, was released in July.
